Peer-reviewed publication of DEP® cabazitaxel clinical data in European Journal of Cancer

We’re pleased to share the publication of Starpharma’s DEP® cabazitaxel clinical trial results in the European Journal of Cancer.

This phase 1/2 study evaluated DEP® cabazitaxel, Starpharma’s dendrimer nanoparticle formulation of cabazitaxel, in patients with advanced solid tumours, including metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer, ovarian cancer and oesophago-gastric cancer.

The published data showed encouraging antitumour activity across multiple heavily pre-treated tumour types. Adverse reactions were mostly mild or moderate with a reduced incidence of high-grade bone marrow toxicity compared to conventional cabazitaxel reports.

These findings support the clinical profile of DEP® cabazitaxel and reinforce the broader potential of Starpharma’s DEP® platform to improve the delivery of other cytotoxics, targeted therapies, and radioisotopes.
