Starpharma was pleased to take part in this week’s AMTAR Retreated, hosted by the ARC Research Hub for Advanced Manufacture of Targeted Radiopharmaceuticals. It was exciting to join a brilliant cohort of researchers and industry leaders committed to advancing radiopharmaceutical innovation in Australia.

A big thank you to Malcolm Lim for presenting our collaborative work on dendrimers in radiopharmaceuticals. His talk highlighted how Starpharma’s dendrimer platform—engineered for precision and tunable pharmacokinetics and biodistribution—is being applied to improve diagnostic sensitivity and therapeutic efficacy in oncology.

During the Industry Panel, we shared Starpharma’s perspective as a platform technology company in the radiopharmaceutical space. We discussed the importance of partnerships like AMTAR in bridging capability gaps in the industry in Australia and the need for investment in phase-appropriate clinical trial manufacturing.

Thank you to Kris, Rachel, David, all the AMTAR researchers and our fellow industry partners for creating such a collaborative and energising space for knowledge exchange and progress. The retreat reinforced the power of collective progress—where academic and industry partners come together not to compete, but to lift each other up.
